Dr. David Sylvester is a free-lance writer, speaker, pastor, and the founder of Today's Pulpit, a ministry which has provided study resources and communication tools to more than 16,000 pastors in the United States and in more than 20 other countries such as Singapore Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. He has worked as a founding pastor and an associate pastor for more than 22 years. He studied at Southwest Texas State University, the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Texas, and has completed graduate studies at both Wayland University and Southwestern Seminary including the Doctor of Ministry degree. His wife, Daneta, who is originally from the mission field of Nigeria, West Africa, is a designer. They have one son, Andrew.
